Mission
Faculty affiliated with the Medicaid Policy Impact Initiative at Cornell conduct rigorous research to inform Medicaid policy and strengthen the health care safety net in the United States.
We partner with state and federal policymakers, plans, providers, and enrollees to generate actionable evidence and translate it into practice.
We also build data resources and tools that support the Medicaid research community and expand the use of data in policymaking.
Affiliations
The Medicaid Policy Impact Initiative is powered by the Cornell Health Policy Center, a partnership between Weill Cornell Medicine and the Brooks School of Public Policy that serves as the locus of health policy impact, research, and training at Cornell University.
We are based at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City.
